Campaigns
Campaigns allows you to quickly and easily create/edit all merchandizing campaigns the web studio supports including Alternative Products, Category Promotion, HTML Banner, Image Banner and Landing Page.
Alternative Products Campaign
The Alternative Products Campaign allows you to promote products from one category when a search term hits another category. For example, you can promote products from the category “Dark Chocolate Gummy Bear Giftsets” when someone is searching for “Candy”.
Campaign Type
Select the Alternative Products option from the campaign type pull-down menu.
Search Term
Enter the search term to be linked to the promoted category.
Only a single search term or category can be selected for each alternative products campaign.
Promoted Category
Select the promoted category from the auto complete function.
Let’s assume for example that you own a sporting goods shop and you do not carry the brand "Adidas". You can select the search term "Adidas Running Shoes" to trigger the campaign and the new hot Nike running shoes as the promoted category that will be displayed instead with a message such as:
We couldn't find "Adidas Running Shoes" and thought you might like these instead.
This message is customizable and the Celebros team can assist you in customizing it.
Category Promotion Campaign
The Category promotion campaign is a great tool which enables you the control the search result sets for specific triggers by allowing you to promote multiple categories in the confines of a specific scenario, to boost specific business objectives.
Here are a few examples of category promotion campaigns:
- Let’s assume your baby products store has a new supplier for organic baby products. To launch this new vendor product, you can create the following campaign: When a shopper search query hits the following categories: “baby wear” and “gifts for new mothers” boost the products under these attributes by 80% “Pastel” (color) and “Organic” (fabric type).
- Let’s say your Pet store just started selling cat training accessories. To promote these products you will create the following campaign: When a shopper’s search query hits these categories: “cat training gear” and “cat treats for trainers” boost the products under these attributes by 50% “Miracle” (Brand) and “Slim” (fat factor) by 90%.
- In these examples, the system will override the relevancy algorithm and assign these products with a higher rank in the search results than what they would have received via the relevancy algorithm alone.
