Advanced hosts several advanced features that can assist you in managing, tweaking and understanding your solution. Advanced is the access point for the following features:
- Auto-Complete
- Data Validation
- Misspellings
- Users
- Log
Auto Complete
The Auto Complete is an integral part of the search solution. In this page, you can apply the settings you like.
Queries
In this section you configure the display of frequent queries in your Auto Complete.
- You can edit the title of this section, as it will appear in the Auto Complete, in the title field. The default is "Suggestions"
- You can select how many top queries to display, up to 10.
- You can select how many letters the shopper needs to type before displaying top query suggestions.
Products
In this section, you can configure the display of product suggestions in your Auto Complete.
- You can edit the title of this section, as it will appear in the Auto Complete, in the title field. The default is "Popular Products."
- You can select how many products to display, up to 10.
- You can select how many letters the shopper needs to type before displaying product suggestions. The default is 1 character.
Data Source
The Auto Complete can receive its query and product information from the Celebros analytics or from an External source.
Prohibited Queries
The queries blacklist allows you to block queries from appearing in the auto complete. In this way, you can ensure that garbage queries will not be displayed in the top queries section instead of stronger queries that can actually help the users find what they are looking for. Simply enter the query term to block and click Add.
Data Validation
Data Validation displays messages related to the validation of your search catalog files when they are uploaded. It provides the ability to upload your updated product catalog, Auto-complete data and Cross-Sell information.
Misspellings
This section allows you to manually add misspellings to the dictionary. While there is a built-in dictionary which will automatically pick up any normally misspelled terms, some terms such as brand names or industry-specific terms may not be part of a normal dictionary. If you are finding that your customers are misspelling a term and it is not automatically being corrected, you can manually add the misspelling in the shop dictionary.
Search Box
You can use the search box to search for specific words in the dictionary so you might add to them, or delete specific misspelled words associated with them.
Remove from Dictionary
To remove a dictionary entry, select the entry and then click Delete.
Add to Dictionary
To add an entry to the shop dictionary click Add Misspelling and then enter the incorrect and correct spelling and click Save. If there are multiple misspellings for a single word, each misspelling will need to be added with the correct spelling.
Users
Used for adding logins for Studio. Users manage their passwords by selecting the Forgot Password link on the login screen. Making a user Admin gives them access to the Users option.
Log
The log file is a great tool for monitoring the various actions done in your Studio. The Filter option allows you to narrow down the displayed details and selecting any row in the log provides the View Details button to give you the details of the selected row.
