Edit content on a page

Pages can be edited in either Layout or Rendered mode.

• Layout mode is the standard editor.

• Rendered mode is an enhanced editor that displays the page as it would be expected to appear during a live rendering.

The default view for each OrchestraCMS profile is specified in the OrchestraCMS Setup menu. (You must be an OrchestraCMS Administrator to set the default view, but you can override the default view for your profile, if you wish.)

The setting for the default view is on the edit page for a given OrchestraCMS profile, under Open Page Behavior.

To make changes to content while editing a page, you can access the content editor directly from the Page Editor.

To edit content on a page

1. On the content item bar of the content item you want to edit, click the edit symbol.
   
2. In the content editor, make changes to your content, and then click Save.
   • Optionally, to set your preferred view, you can toggle the “Rendered Mode” setting in the Actions panel for Pages.
