Create text content

The Text content type contains content templates that are used to create text-based content. Although you may use multiple templates to present information in different ways, the text you enter in one template does not automatically populate in any other template.

Document Style 1

The Document Style 1 content template is used to create rich text content. Typically, this content template is used to create large sections of content, such as the main body content on any page.

To use the Document Style 1 content template

  1. In the content editor, in the Title box, enter a title for the content.
  2. In the rich text editor, enter your content.
  3. In the Actions panel, click Save.

Listable

The Listable content template is typically used in conjunction with the List (Dynamic) or List (Fixed) content type. It is used to create a single list item that links to a complete article, news story, or another full piece of content. Using the List (Dynamic) or List (Fixed) content type, you can create a list that contains many content items that use the Listable content template.

These are the primary benefits of using the Listable content template to create individual list items:

  2. Click in the Target Link box, and in the Select Link dialog, choose where the link opens from the Open In list, and choose what the link directs to from the Link To list. Follow other instructions in this dialog as necessary, and then click Select.
  3. In the More Link box, enter text such as “More,” or “Read More” to accompany the body text and image. This links to the same location as the body text and title.
