Manage non-OrchestraCMS pages

Visualforce pages

You can manually add and remove Visualforce pages (specific components, functions, attributes, and behaviours) which have been enabled by OrchestraCMS developers for more functionality on your site. You must first add these enabled pages in Salesforce.

  • After you enable your Visualforce pages in Salesforce, you can add them to your site using  OrchestraCMS.
  • In OrchestraCMS Setup, under Site, click on Non-OrchestraCMS Pages and choose which pages to add to your site.

Enable Visualforce pages on your OrchestraCMS site

  1. In Salesforce Setup, go to the Content Layouts tab.
  2. At View, select All (Installed package: OrchestraCMS) and Go!
  3. Click Edit on the list view of each content layout to display the Visualforce View column
  4. For each record that has an entry in the Visualforce View column, add the page listed in OrchestraCMS setup using the non-OrchestraCMS pages option.

In the event a new custom content type is created that uses a Visualforce View, that page will also need to be added at that time.

Service Not Available page

Salesforce allows you to set an additional page to be displayed when Salesforce is unavailable. This is specified in the Service Not Available field and points to a Salesforce static resource that is not managed by OrchestraCMS.

If you haven’t set the “Service Not Available” page, the default Salesforce maintenance page is shown.

For instructions on how to configure the “Service Not Available” page, see:

This feature is only available for HTTP and not HTTPS. It is only available in production organizations.
